After lunch, Pat & Sharon went to Santa Paula for family business and picture taking stopped.

The remainder of the group completed the tour. “The Stele de Ptolemy VIII Euergetes II, a premier part of the library’s newest exhibit, ‘Egypt’s Lost Cities,’ features more than 250 artifacts excavated from the ancient towns of Thonis-Heracleionand Canopus.  These two cities on Egypt’s north coast sank into the Mediter-raneanabout 1,200 years ago, casualties of rising seas.”  (Early global warming?)
